Disease progression halted, full-body strength restored: after over 3 years of suffering from ALS, she finally smiles with confidence.

Ms. Hujová Jana, a beautiful and elegant 41-year-old lady from Slovakia, was unfortunately diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). For more than three years, she suffered from progressive limb weakness, muscle atrophy and fasciculation. Under conventional local medical treatment, she was prescribed riluzole, but could not tolerate the medication and gained no therapeutic effect, leading her to discontinue it. Her condition continued to deteriorate.
Gradually, she developed weakness in neck rotation and shoulder shrugging, generalized limb weakness, muscle wasting, difficulty lifting both arms, complete loss of grasping ability in both hands, and inability to stand or walk independently with her lower limbs. She also experienced labored breathing, could not sleep lying flat and had to rest in a semi-recumbent position, alongside severe physical fatigue.

More than three years of physical debilitation, persistent pain and even mental despair cast a shadow over Ms. Hujová Jana and her entire family. However, after learning about numerous ALS patients treated at Wu Medical Center who achieved halted disease progression, relieved symptoms and regained vitality, her family regained hope. Recently, she traveled to Wu Medical Center in Beijing, China, to receive treatment from Dr. Wu’s team. More and more patients have witnessed the medical miracle that ALS is no longer an incurable disease.

Dr. Wu’s original treatment protocol combining neural stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells + CAST therapy targets neurological function recovery. It integrates cutting-edge biological therapies, widely recognized rehabilitation interventions, and over 40 years of extensive comprehensive clinical experience. Its therapeutic effects far surpass single stem cell injection methods, offering reliable, multidisciplinary treatment combining biological regulation, physical rehabilitation and pharmaceutical intervention for patients and families in urgent need.
Refined and upgraded through more than 30 years of continuous clinical practice, Dr. Wu’s exclusive ALS treatment has delivered remarkable, transformative outcomes for numerous patients. It has earned him outstanding credibility and a worldwide reputation in the field of clinical stem cell therapy.

After only two weeks of inpatient treatment, Ms. Hujová Jana’s disease progression was fully halted, and her overall motor function improved significantly by an average of over 30%.

Before treatment: Her voice became weak with unclear articulation.
After treatment: Her voice strengthened, and her speech became much clearer.

Before treatment: Muscle strength for neck rotation and shoulder shrugging was Grade 3+, with limited cervical and shoulder mobility.
After treatment: Muscle strength in these movements improved to nearly Grade 5, with greatly enhanced and unrestricted neck mobility.

Before treatment: Proximal muscle strength of the left upper limb was Grade 1, and the right upper limb was Grade 1+. She could barely touch her lips while standing and had almost no resistance strength in both arms.
After treatment: Her arm-lifting strength improved noticeably; proximal upper limb muscle strength reached Grade 3. Lying supine, she could lift both upper arms approximately 12 centimeters off the bed and hold the position for about three seconds, with the ability to resist mild external force.

Before treatment: Grip and wrist strength of the left hand was Grade 2-, accompanied by spasmodic, flexed fingers. Right hand grip and wrist strength was Grade 2, with severe grasping dysfunction and limited finger movement.
After treatment: Left hand grip strength improved to Grade 3+, and right hand grip strength reached Grade 3. She can grasp others’ fingers with moderate resistance, hold a paper cup and bring it to her mouth.

Before treatment: She had labored breathing and could only sleep in a semi-recumbent position.
After treatment: Her respiratory function improved, allowing her to sleep at a reduced reclining angle.

Before treatment: Bilateral lower limb muscle strength was Grade 2+. She could not stand up from the hospital bed independently, was unable to walk, and suffered from poor balance.
After treatment: Lower limb strength increased notably: left leg strength reached approximately Grade 4-, and the right leg reached Grade 3. While lying supine with bent legs for support, she could hold her left leg independently for 10 seconds and her right leg for 6 seconds. She could maintain a standing posture for about 3 seconds and walk slowly for 5 meters with the assistance of a walker, achieving basic walking ability with continuous progressive improvement.

Before treatment: She suffered from poor mental status and severe fatigue.
After treatment: Her overall mental state, physical stamina and endurance have all improved.

For Ms. Hujová Jana, ALS progression has been successfully halted, and her physical strength is steadily recovering. Once again, she can smile with confidence.

We hope to help more ALS patients like Ms. Hujová Jana receive the advanced dual stem cell + CAST therapy at Wu Medical Center. Different from conventional treatments, this innovative intervention can stop disease progression, restore motor function, enhance quality of life, and allow patients to face life and work with renewed confidence.
