Dr. Wu opens a warm and loving door for little angels with autism

Eric Cernea, a lovely five-year-old boy from Romania, was unfortunately diagnosed with autism at an early age. While his motor abilities are largely normal, Eric suffers from intellectual developmental delays. He is almost completely non-verbal, only able to utter syllables such as "ah" and occasionally call out "mama". He exhibits frequent stereotypical behaviors, fails to respond to instructions, and rarely interacts with others. His attention span is short, his learning ability is low, he is prone to emotional agitation, and often displays hyperactivity. He usually plays by himself, sometimes laughing suddenly, and is largely unresponsive to changes in his surrounding environment that affect his behavior and mood. He currently takes health supplements; stem cell treatment he received in Vienna at the age of three years and nine months yielded no visible improvement.

At the age of five, Eric still lacks the cognitive and functional abilities appropriate for a child his age, leaving his parents deeply anxious. As his parents, they understood that stem cell therapy could potentially help improve Eric’s neurological condition, yet the previous stem cell treatment brought no clear progress, leaving them genuinely disappointed. It was not until they learned that the neural stem cell and mesenchymal stem cell therapy combined with CAST at Wu Medical Center had successfully helped numerous autistic children like Eric that they regained hope for their son to be able to perceive and experience the real world.

With over 40 years of rich clinical experience as a neurologist and one of the world’s leading experts in stem cell therapy, Dr. Wu holds unique insights and extensive comprehensive clinical expertise in applying stem cell treatment for autism. Drawing on more than 30 years of professional practice and wisdom, he has opened a new door for these little angels—children living with autism. After just two weeks of inpatient treatment, many children like Eric have become able to feel the love of their parents, the warmth of the world, and their own sense of existence.

Recently, Eric’s mother accompanied him to Wu Medical Center, having eagerly and impatiently waited for the day when her son could receive the stem cell treatment that has brought about miraculous improvements for children with autism under Dr. Wu’s team.

After two weeks of inpatient treatment, Eric showed clear and distinct improvements in communication with the outside world, attention span, learning ability, language skills, ability to follow instructions, as well as appetite and sleep quality.

Before treatment, due to intellectual developmental delays, Eric was largely non-verbal, only able to utter the syllable “ah”. According to his mother, the child could occasionally mumble a vague “mama” when anxious, but had no other verbal expressions otherwise.
After treatment, his eye contact and language ability improved significantly. He was able to speak single words such as “mama”, “auntie”, “papa” and “back”, and his vocabulary showed a growing trend.

Before treatment, Eric was inattentive. He failed to respond to instructions, rarely interacted with others, had a short attention span, poor learning ability, was easily agitated, and often exhibited hyperactivity. He kept to himself, sometimes laughing suddenly, and was hardly affected by changes in his surroundings.
After treatment, his attention span lengthened, his learning ability improved, his comprehension enhanced, his ability to follow instructions strengthened, and his self-control increased. His mental state improved, his cognitive function advanced, his hyperactivity and restlessness decreased noticeably, and his interaction with the outside world increased. He was able to make eye contact and engage in physical interaction with strangers, and could wave goodbye to others when guided.

Before treatment, he was uncooperative during physical examinations.
After treatment, his cooperation during examinations improved, and he was able to complete some of the procedures.

Before treatment, his appetite and sleep were poor.
After treatment, his appetite improved, the number of times he woke up at night decreased, and he slept well.

With his autistic symptoms clearly improved after treatment, Eric has begun to perceive the warm love and patient communication and guidance from his family, and has developed greater interest and curiosity toward the things around him.

With medical guidance and the enhanced effects of stem cell therapy, Eric will continue to improve. From a child with autism who could barely communicate, he has gradually become the pride of his parents once again — a transformation his family firmly believes in.

We hope to accompany more patients with autism like Eric to experience the cutting-edge dual stem cell plus CAST therapy at WMC, which differs from traditional medicine. This treatment increases the number of healthy neurons in the brain, initiates the repair of nerve damage and brain development, improves their quality of life, and eases the anxiety of their families.
