Before treatment:
The patient was born by caesarean in 9 months. He was found slow retarded physical development at the age of 3 months and accompanied with epilepsy, sometimes he would vomit. He was taken to the local hospital and found hydrocephalus, so he received the ventricular drainage surgery. He started to lost his vision 1 year ago and have a serious epilepsy attack for 3 minutes. He was taken to the local hospital and considered as the result of ventricular drainage surgery, so he received another surgery, he took antibiotic and lost his hearing. He is not able to see or hear now. his language and motor function was developing slowly. He can speak some simple words, he can sit up for a long time, he can crawl and turn over, but he can’t walk by himself. When someone helps, he can walk. Both of his hand can hold up objects and he also have some times’ small epilepsy. His family wants a better life, so he comes to our medical center.

His spirit, sleep and diet are normal, sometimes he has constipation.

Admission PE:
Temperature: 36.4 degree. Bp: 100/90mmHg; Hr: 110/min,. Br: 24/min. Height: 103cms, weight: 17kgs. His physical development and nutrition were good. The skin and mucosa were normal with no yellow stains or petechia. There were operational scars on his temporal of head and right abdomen, the size was 5cm. there was another operational scar on his right chest, there were drainage tubes under his scars on chest and abdomen. The color of his mouth was normal, his pharyngeal and tonsil were not congestive and without nude. His thorax was symmetrical, the respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear, with no dry or moist rales. The precordial region of heart with no upheaval, the heart sound was strong. The cardiac rhythm was irregular, with no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was flat, with no pressing pain or rebound tenderness. His liver and spleen were normal. There was no edema in both lower limbs. He had sinus irregularity.

Nervous System Examination:
Benjamin Medina Rodriguez was alert and his spirit was good. He could speak some simple words. He didn’t cooperate with the examination of orientation, calculation or memory. His eyeballs were not hollow, both pupils were unequal in size, the diameter of right one was 3mm, the left one was 4mm. Both pupils were insensitive to light stimulus. He didn’t cooperate with the eyeball movement and nystagmus examination. Fundus examination: the color is light yellow and reddish. The vein and the artery were normal, the macular area was depauperated, the optic papilla was pale and the boundary was not clear. The both side nasolabial sulcus was equal in depth. he could sit for a long time, he could crawl and turn over his body. He could walk with somebody’s help. Both of his hand could catch and hold up objects. He didn’t cooperate with grip and four limbs’ muscle power examination. The muscle tension of four limbs was a little lower. The pathological sign was negative. He didn’t cooperate with rapid rotation test, finger to finger test or heel-knee-tibia test. The meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After admission, Benjamin Medina Rodriguez received the relevant examinations and diagnosed as 1.Cerebral palsy 2. Optic Atrophy 3. Nervous Deafness 4. Epilepsy 5. Sinus Irregularity. He received 4 times of neural stem cell injection and 4 times of mesenchymal stem cell injection to activate the cells, nourishes neurons, improve circulation, protect his heart and immunity. He also had physical rehabilitation.

Post-treatment:
After 3 weeks’ treatment, his excrement was normal, his heart rate was better, he had less epilepsy attack. Both pupils had reflex to light, the right one was better. Both of his eyeballs were equal in size and round. When a tuning fork ringing in front his ears, he had some reaction the right one was better. Both of his hands could move flexible. He could walk while with someone’s help.
