Before treatment:
The patient was born when his mother was 32 weeks pregnant. The patient was born through cesarean. He had anoxia asphyxia at birth. His weight only 1.8KG after birth. The patient then suffered from myoclonus, 4-6 times each day. He received Vigabatrin for anti-epileptic. The epileptic seizure times was reduced obviously 5 years ago. The recheck of electroencephalogram showed no obvious abnormalities. He stopped the anti-epileptic medication gradually. The patient also suffered from hearing impaired, 40%, when he received physical examination. He used hearing-aid to hear. The patient suffered or had a delay in his speech development, only could only say, "A" and other few letters. He couldn't call out "Mummy" or "Daddy". He had less communication with family members and had no significant communication with outside word. His family members took the patient to hospital and received related examination, he was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy and Autism. Family member gave the patient speech training and cognitive function training. There was no obvious improvement. From the onset of the disease, the patient had normal spirit, his diet was normal, the sleep was normal. He suffered from constipation and defecated every 3-5 days. He couldn’t express urination or defecation.

Admission PE:
Bp: 92/60mmHg; Hr: 96/min, Br: 22/min. Temperature: 36.0. Height: 119cms, weight: 18kgs. The skin and mucosa were normal with no yellow stains or petechia. The respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear, with no dry or moist rales. Through auscultation, the heart sound was low. The cardiac rhythm was regular, with no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was enlarged, with no pressing pain or rebound tenderness. The liver and spleen were not enlarged.

Nervous System Examination:
Matias Miguel Martin was alert. He had phonation, but he had no self-access language. His emotion was unstable. This was accompanied with hyperactivity. He couldn't cooperate with the examination of orientation, memory, comprehend or judgment. He suffered atonic seizure 7-8 times every day after he wakes up. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was about 2.5mm. Both pupils were sensitive to light stimulus. The eyes' movement was not flexible. There was no nystagmus. The forehead wrinkle pattern was symmetrical. The nasolabial sulcus was equal in depth. He couldn't cooperate with other examination of cranial nerves. Four limbs had activity. Both hands had grasp action. Both lower limbs could stand and walk, but the muscle strength of his lower limbs was poor. The waking gait was unstable. The muscle tone of his four limbs was normal when he relaxes. The tendon reflex of the four limbs was normal. Bilateral abdominal reflexes were negative. Bilateral Hoffmann sign was negative. Bilateral sucking reflex was negative. Bilateral palm jaw reflex was negative. The jaw reflex was negative. Bilateral Babinski sign was negative. He couldn't cooperate with the examination of sensation and coordinate movement examination. The meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After admission, Matias Miguel Martin received the relevant examinations. He was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy, Autism and Epilepsy. He received treatment for nerve regeneration and to activate stem cells in the body. Then he received treatment to improve the blood circulation in order to increase the blood supply to the damaged nerves and also to nourish the neurons. This was combined with rehabilitation training. 

Post Treatment:
The patient has better diet, the patient's weight has reached 21.5Kg. The comprehensive ability and cognitive function has improved. Both eyes can focus at objects for longer time now. He has quicker response to other instructions. Motor function aspects has improved. His walking gait is more stable than before. He can make a turn quickly. He has a more standard action when he walks up or down stairs. The muscle strength of both lower limbs, waist and back has increased. Epileptic seizure: the attacks times and degree have reduced. Occasionally, he has atonic seizures 3-4 times after he wakes up.
