Before treatment:
The patient felt dizzy, weakness and speechless without any reasons 5 years ago, she also had nystagmus, when she went to see the doctor, she began to feel unconsciousness. So she had brain CT, it showed cerebral hemorrhage, she had a surgery to remove the hematoma, after that she became better, but her right side body couldn’t move well, she was not able to speak clear, she had brain MRA, it showed arteriovenous malformation and angiorrhexis of brain, she took pills and had rehabilitation therapy, after that, she felt better, her right side body got more power, but she is not able to move her right wrist very well, she has mild right pes varus, her speech is normal. She wants a better life so she came to our center.

Her spirit was good, she had normal diet, she couldn’t sleep well, only slept 2-3 hours each night. Her urination and defecation were normal, her weight was normal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 106/65mmHg; Hr: 58/min. BT: 36.5 degree, RP: 18/min, height: 160cm, weight: 61kg. Her nutrition was normal, her body type was good. There was no yellow stain or bleeding spot on her skin or mucosa. Her respiratory sounds of both lungs were clear, with no dry or moist rales. Her heart sounds were strong, there was 1-2 times ventricular premature beat in 1 minute. There was no obvious murmur in the valve area. Her abdominal was bulge. The liver and spleen were normal, her lower limbs were not dropsical. She had mild anemia.

Nervous System Examination:
Phinemany Emilie Siharath was alert and her spirit was good. Her calculation memory and orientation abilities were normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was 3.0mms, both eyeballs could move freely and the pupils reacted normally to light stimulus, the wrinkles on the forehead were equal in deep, her mouth and teeth position were normal, her tongue was in the middle. Her neck was soft, her neck turned right weak. The muscle power of left limbs was at level 5, the abductor power of right upper limb was at level 4-, flexor muscle power was at level 4+, extensor muscle power was at level 4. The muscle power of right wrist was at level 2-, the right grip was at level 2. It was hard for her to extend her right hand, the muscle power of right lower limb was at level 4. The muscle tension of left side was normal, right side was a little higher. Both side abdominal reflexes were abnormal, right side tendon reflex was little active. Right side Babinski sign was positive. Both side partial body pain, tuning fork vibration sense and combined sensation were normal, she couldn’t do right side finger to finger test, the meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After admission, she received the relevant examinations and diagnosed as: 1. Sequela of Stroke(Arteriovenous Malformation of Brain) 2. Anemia(mild) 3. Sinus Bradycardia: Occasional Ventricular Extrasystole. So she received 3 times of neural stem cell injection and 3 times of mesenchymal stem cell injection to increase the blood supply to the damaged nerves and nourish the neurons, improve her blood circulation, regular her immune system. We also gave her rehabilitation training.

Post-treatment:
After 2 weeks treatment, her sleep was better, she could sleep 6-8 hours each day, her motor function was better, her right wrist was relax, the muscle power of right upper limb was higher than before, and she could raise her right wrist higher, the flexor muscle power was at level 4+, extensor muscle power was at level 5-, right grip was at level 3+. The muscle power of right lower limb was at level 5-, her right feet could do dorsal flexor and plantar flexion better.
