Diagnosis: Muscular Dystrophy   

Before treatment: 
The patient was normal when he was born. He was able to walk at the age of 15 months but he was found to be unable to walk straight at the age of 2 and half. He also fell down a lot and it was hard for him to go up stairs. His CK level was much higher than normal so he had a gene test and was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. His condition became worse and worse, his motor functions were bad and he had muscular hypertrophy in his legs. At present, he is able to sit up, stand up and walk, but he walks slowly and in an abnormal manner. He had mild lumbar lordosis.
His spirit, diet and sleep are normal. His urination and defecation functions are normal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 110/75mmHg, Hr: 81/min, body temperature: 36.7 degrees. Height: 97cm, weight: 17Kg. There is no injury or bleeding spots of his skin and mucosa. Chest development is normal and the lungs breathing was clear with no rales. The heart beat was powerful with irregular cardiac rhythm, there is no murmur in the aortic valve area. The abdomen was soft and flat with no masses or tenderness. His liver and spleen were normal, the 4 limbs development was normal, there was pseudomuscular hypertrophy of both lower legs and slight lumbar lordosis.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert, had slurred speech, mental status was good. His memory, calculation and orientation ability are normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3.0 mm, react well to light and the eyeballs could move freely. The bilateral forehead wrinkle and nasolabial groove are symmetrical. He could close his eyes powerfully and extend his tongue out as normal. Showing teeth was normal, soft palate could lift as normal, pharyngeal reflex was normal and the patient could turn his  neck and shrug as normal. The muscle power of the arms was normal, of the legs was 4 degrees. Muscle tone of all 4 limbs was decreased slightly. Patient could roll over in bed, sit, stand and walk himself. The walking gait was abnormal with a wide step base and waddling gait. He could run on tiptoes, the tendon reflex of the left leg was decreased and the right side could not be induced. The  tendon reflex of the arms and abdomen reflex could not be induced by examination. Bilateral palm-jaw reflex, Hoffmann sign, Rossilimo sign and Babinski sign were negative. Sensory examination was normal, finger to nose test was normal. The both sides finger opposite movement and fast alternate movement was normal. He could not complete the heel-knee-tibia test, the meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After the admission he received related examinations and received 3 times cells regeneration treatment to repair his damaged muscle cells, replace dead cells, nourish muscle cells, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was done with rehabilitation training.     

Post-treatment:
After 14 days treatment he can speak louder and can lift his arms with much more flexibility. The muscle power of the arms is at level 5, the waist and back muscle power have increased. He can sit up from a lying position quickly,  move from sitting  to a standing position and roll over in bed by himself easily. He now walks longer and better.
